It's been a while since I've updated this, but for those of you who don't know, I am getting published!!! It was official back in on September 9th, so wow, tomorrow, would've marked a whole month that I haven't updated this thing. And I must thank you all for the prayers, and I hope to raise enough money soon. Besides that, please continue praying for me and please send your work to me to proofread if you are wanting to publish soon, so I may help out all I can, I promise not to use it in any way, shape, or form. If you would like a Prologue (1st 3 Chapters of my story) to read, then please send me a note with your email address, or if you would like to Skype sometime.

Dear all deviants,

I am in need of many prayers. I sent my book of to a company called Page Publishing and I would like to get my first novel published as soon as I can. I will know something by Tuesday the 9th of this upcoming week whether they will accept or decline my manuscript. If they do decline my work, I will not be too distraught because this is only the third publisher I have found, but I pray that this one takes the cake. It is a Christian book with a good message that I believe God has given me the right words to, (even past all the scary stuff) but I really enjoyed writing it and I could really use some help right now.

certain children are considered Mingi (Impure, Ritually polluted)

Reasons for being declared Mingi are:
Being born out of wedlock.
Being the result of an unplanned pregnancy.
Being born a twin.
Being born with a cleft lip or palate.
Being born with some sort of deformity or imperfection.
Having one's genitals injured in some way.
Having ones teeth develop in the upper jaw before the lower jaw.
Chipping a tooth during childhood.

Children declared Mingi are considered cursed by the spirits.

It is believed that if allowed to live a Mingi child will bring misfortune to the community.

Children declared Mingi are either abandoned to die or killed. 

Mingi children are either drowned, starved, or, in the case of infants, 
have dirt stuffed in their mouths so that they choke to death.

Please, please pray that this evil practice stop!
